At a meeting of Mrs. S. L Griffith’s Sunday school class held March 11, the following was adopted: Whereas, it has pleased God to take from us our beloved classmate, Edith M. Bond, it is hereby Resolved, That we extend our heartfelt sympathy to the family of the deceased. Resolved, That while we bow in humble submission, knowing “He doeth all things well,” our hearts mourn the loss of one who was “A Shining Light” in our class; furthermore, as we strive to walk “In His Steps,” we shall find an easy path if we follow hers, which were always cheerfulness, willingness and activity in doing good for others. Resolved, That we attend the funeral in a body. Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be transmitted to the family.
